We use the best ingredients available and herbs with a deliberate low input of salt. Sugar is only used in very small quantities to complement our tomato sauce.
Our main herbs and spices:
Extra Virgin olive oil is used in 90% of our dishes. Excellent source of antioxidants and healthy fats.
Garlic: Manganese: 2% of the Daily Value (DV)
Bay leaves: Rich in vitamin c and a. And most other nutrients found in Garlic.
Mixed herbs or Italian herbs: Parsley, Basil, Rosemary, Sage, Oregano.
Black/White pepper: Helps to regulate cholesterol, helps to cure arthritis and lower heart problems. High in vitamins c and b’s. Antioxidants.
Paprika: Iron and B6, good for arthritis sufferers, excellent anti-inflammatory properties, good for vision and digestive aid.
